Last Thursday, we had the pleasure of presenting our project Windcrete during the closing event of the AGAUR INNOVADORS 2023 program.

Windcrete is an innovative monolithic floating offshore wind platform made of concrete, a sustainable structure that aims to simplify installation, reduce lifecycle costs, and accelerate the large-scale deployment of renewable energy at sea.

The event, held at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC) in Terrassa, gathered inspiring researchers and entrepreneurs from different technological fields. We had the honor of listening to Mr. Jordi Berenguer i Sau, Vice-Chancellor of Transfer, Innovation and Entrepreneurship at UPC, and Mrs. Lourdes Puigbarraca Sol, Deputy Director General of Transfer and Society and Knowledge at the Generalitat de Catalunya.

We are truly grateful to AGAUR and Mr. Nadal Bayà Fons for promoting such initiatives that connect research, innovation, and entrepreneurship.
Special thanks as well to all mentors, trainers, and fellow participants from projects like OPTICMizing, Blauet, Biohidrogas (Autometh), MVOptimizer, MAT-OFTAL, Muvity, Nanobesity, and TreX2i for sharing this inspiring journey with us.
