The Provence Grand Large project marks a triple milestone: it is France’s first floating offshore wind farm, the first in the Mediterranean Sea, and the first to use Tensioned Leg Platform (TLP) technology.

With 3 turbines and 25 MW of capacity, it can power 45,000 people annually. Located 17 km off the coast in the Gulf of Fos, this pioneering project uses innovative floating platforms and dynamic cables to generate renewable energy in deep waters — a major step toward carbon neutrality and the future of floating wind energy.
